It seems that ever since Google launched local service and local pages, small businesses have had a big opportunity to expand their presence in local search. Of course Yelp led the way in local business directories for years and is still a major player in the market, joining what seems like hundreds of other local business oriented services.
Yiftee is an app thatâs recently launched, which enables customers to select a gift for someone, from a local business. Hereâs how it works:
On your smart phone or web choose a gift at a local merchant, pick your friend, and pay for the gift. Your friend immediately gets the gift notice via Facebook, email, and/or text, along with a single use digital credit card and gift/merchant description. Your friend takes her phone to the merchant, shows the digital credit card, and gets her gift!
Like many apps and online services, Yiftee appears to be more of a solution thatâs looking for a problem - just like Facebook was when it first came on board or many other services.
Whatâs the use for your business Yiftee hopes to drive a following of local customers to your business. The more customers use Yiftee to give small gifts to others, the more local business, your business will get.
You canât get hurt from checking out this new serviceâ¦so check it out.
